Jewish History Paris Walking Tour

On this tour we will learn about Jewish history in Paris from the origins of the city all the way to the present day. The tour starts on île de la Cité and ends in the Marais.

We will explore historic Jewish areas while discovering modern Jewish food and restaurants. This is not a tasting tour, I will point out my favorite places and their historic significance and it will be up to you to decide what you would like to sample after the tour.

From the Industrial Revolution to the Resistance

On this tour we will learn about how Jewish merchants contributed to the Haussmannian transformation of Paris and will stop at one of the most quintessential streets of the iron and glass period. We will talk about the Industrial Revolution, it’s small craft businesses and their participation in the resistance during the Nazi Occupation. We will finish this tour with a L’Chaim at a Kosher wine and cheese restaurant to celebrate life and the Jewish legacy.
